LANA and Rusev have called for the WWE Universe in London to show their thanks for the Ravishing Russian’s selfless act in creating “The Man” Becky Lynch.
The SmackDown Live performers and the rest of the blue brand’s stars will be performing at The O2 Arena tonight in front of a packed-out crowd.
And Lana is hoping the UK audience does not let her down when it comes to showing their appreciation for the opportunity she gave the Irish Lasskicker at the Royal Rumble in January.
Lana, real name CJ Perry, had drawn No 30 in the over-the-top-rope rumble with the victor gaining a WrestleMania title shot.
Unfortunately, due to an injury sustained earlier in the night, the 34-year-old was unable to participate.
As medics attended to her after her attempted struggle to the ring, Lynch emerged on the scene to take her spot and went on to win the match.
She then made history in the first-ever female WrestleMania main event by pinning Ronda Rousey to claim both her Raw and Charlotte Flair’s SmackDown Women’s Titles after an epic triple threat.
Sun Sport travelled to The O2 this morning to speak with husband and wife duo Lana and Rusev.
And even though Lynch – who now dubs herself “Becky Two Belts” – has not shown her any gratitude for giving her a place in the rumble, Lana is banking on tonight’s crowd showing theirs.
She told Sun Sport: “The truth is I could have main evented WrestleMania, we all know that.
“Really, every night, there should be a ‘Thank you Lana’ chant because I gave the world ‘The Man’.
“I sacrificed my body for it unfortunately, but I’m so selfless, and I wanted people to be happy and give ‘The Man’ the opportunity – which she does deserve because she is amazing and I’m glad she was able to do what she did.”
Rusev then jumped in: “She would have been called Lana Two Titles. Did she ever come back and say thank you?”
“No she hasn’t,” replied Lana.
“It’s forgotten. It gets to people’s heads and I’m not surprised.
“Just a thank you Lana tweet or chant… you know.
“But that’s what I love about London, you guys really come through for me on chants.
“Some people don’t get excited about it but I do.”
The lovable pair now have competition when it comes to being WWE’s power couple after it was confirmed yesterday Lynch is dating Universal Champion Seth Rollins.
But Rusev is having none of it.

He said: “What is a power couple? First of all they have just kissed for the past few weeks, so that does not make them a couple to begin with.
“You need to put in the work. We’ve been married for two years, together for six, so you need to build your way up to our level. So they have a long way to go.”
Lana added: “I mean let’s just see how long she has the titles. She could lose them both this Sunday at Money in the Bank.
“Seth could lose his, Rusev could beat Seth. In WWE everything can change so fast.”
